Dr. Schwartz's Team

In keeping with our goal to provide personalized attention for our guests, we have two highly qualified and dedicated team members, Caron and Nancy.

Nancy is a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) through The Dental Assistants National Board (DANB), as well as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) through Lehigh County Community College, both since 1974. She is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Assistants Association, and the Berks County Dental Assistants Society, where she has served as President and currently serving as Treasurer. Nancy volunteers annually at the local Give Kids A Smile event and helps with third grade presentations in February’s National Children’s Dental Health Month. She is a mother of three, Sunday school teacher, and a Camp Fire Kids leader. Nancy’s hobbies include skiing, swimming, bike riding, and going for walks in the woods with her dog Rocky. But best of all, she has even found time to be Dr. Schwartz’s wife for the past 15+ years.

In Pennsylvania, an EFDA is now certified to place, contour, and finish filling materials after the dentist has removed all the decay.

Caron is a 1997 graduate of Hamburg High School. In 2001 she received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Mansfield University. She became a certified surgical technologist in 2005 and worked in the operating room for 1 ½ years before becoming Dr. Schwartz’s treatment coordinator. Her hobbies include shooting pool, being outside, and spending time with her family. She also is looking forward to becoming Dr. Schwartz and Nancy’s daughter-in-law in October of 2009.
