Who is Dr. Schwartz?
Dr. David A. Schwartz of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania is a passionate and caring dentist whose main goal is quality oral health and reliable, friendly service for all of his guests. Dr. Schwartz and his Team believe that the combination of your good health and the ability to look and feel good make up the recipe for happiness and success. He strives to educate his guests on the importance of maintaining good oral health as a long-term investment in yourself and your family. Dr. Schwartz enjoys woodworking, gardening, camping, swimming and car restoration, but mostly spending time with his family.

His Credentials
Dr. Schwartz received his B.S. in 1986 from Penn State University and his D.D.S. from New York University in 1990. He is an alumnus of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. At LVI, he has completed courses that focus on:

Neuromuscular dentistry (Dr. Schwartz has been treated himself)
Occlusion
Soft-tissue laser treatments including gum recontouring
Orthodontics
Anterior aesthetics (porcelain veneers, smile aesthetic procedures)
Cold sore treatment and prevention
Sleep apnea and snoring treatments

He is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA) and the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and a member of the International Association of Mercury-Free Dentists. Dr. Schwartz has not placed a metal filling containing mercury since 1990 and strives daily to protect his guests from contamination in any form.

Dr. Schwartz is also a member of the Berks County Dental Society, where he has served in many positions, including President. He has also served as a Delegate for the past 8 years, as well as the President for the 4th District of the PDA and as an Alternate Delegate to the ADA. Dr. Schwartz is a member of both the IACA and the National Eagle Scout Association.

Dr. Schwartz holds personalized treatment for his guests in the highest regard in his dental practice. When scheduling appointments with his guests, he schedules the extra time he feels is needed in order to build a solid trusting relationship between him and the person who is placing their oral health into his capable hands. His belief is that this builds better relationships and understanding between doctor and guest. It also prevents appointments from getting backed up as the day progresses.
